WSU Announces
Bookstock Scholarships
Wayne State's School of Library and
Information Science announces
the first recipients of scholarships
through the Bookstock Annual
Scholars Fund. Three students were
awarded $2,000 each to help finance
their education and support their
commitment to the community, lit-
eracy and urban librarianship.
The Bookstock scholarships are
funded by Bookstock and its cor-
porate partners, Gardner-White
Furniture and Wallside Windows.
Recipients include graduate stu-
dents Zsa-Zsa Booker of Royal Oak,
Danielle Hansard of Dearborn and
Alicia Bell of Lathrup Village.
Bookstock volunteers mobilize
each year to host book and media
sales events. The 2012 sale is sched-
uled for April 22-29 at Laurel Park
Place in Livonia. For information,
