AARON "ART" MANIKER, 86, of
Southfield, died Dec. 30, 2011.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Maniker is survived by his wife,
Edith Maniker; son, Allen Maniker and
David Kleer; daughters and son-in-law,
Terry and David Tucker, Marci Maniker-
Leiter; sister and brother-in-law, Mary
and Harry Ehrlich; brother-in-law,
David Silberg; grandchildren, Lisa and
Jim Hewitt, Sarah Leiter, Mandy Leiter,
Ariella Leiter; many loving nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Maniker was the loving brother
and brother-in-law of the late Esther
and the late Sam Wolfson, the late Irene
and the late Saul Brenner, and the late
Ethel Silberg.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment
was held at Nusach Hari Cemetery in
Ferndale. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

ESTHER MATLEN,
88, of Southfield, died
Dec. 28, 2011.
She is survived by
her beloved husband
of 68 years, Hyman
Matlen of Southfield;
daughters and sons-
Matlen
in-law, Linda and Jim
Newman, Sandy and Marc Belsky, Joanie
and Richard Rizzio; son, Paul Matlen;
brother-in-law, Mervin Koplof; grand-
children, Dan (Allegra) Newman, Mike
(Becky) Newman, Amy Newman, Brad
(Rebecca) Belsky Justin Belsky and Jared
Belsky Lisa Matlen and Stacey Matlen;
great-grandchild, Sophie Newman.
Mrs. Matlen was the mother of the
late Dr. Steven Matlen; the sister of the
late Edna Koplof.

MICKEY MINDELL,
84, of West
Bloomfield, died Jan.
1, 2012.
He is survived
by his beloved wife,
Rita Mindell of West
Bloomfield; sons

of West Bloomfield, Allan and Laura
Mindell of Farmington Hills, Dr. Seth and
Lisa Mindell of West Bloomfield; brother
and sister-in-law, Bernard and Judith
Minden; brother-in-law, Dr. Edward
(Joan) Pollak; grandchildren, Jennifer,
David, Arielle, Ila, Samantha, Max and
Jack; many loving nieces, nephews, other
family members and friends.
Mr. Minden was the brother of the late
Sharon Ketai and the late Judy London.

took place at the Temple Israel Gardens
of Beth El Cemetery in Livonia.

ESTHER A. OLSON,
69, of Commerce, died
Dec. 29, 2011.
She was dedicated
to making our com-
munity better through
B'nai B'rith, Hadassah,
ORT, West Bloomfield's
Olson
Relay For Life and
many other charitable organizations.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band, Harvey Olson of Commerce;
daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and
Dr. Bradley Silber of Commerce; sons
and daughters-in-law, Dr. Stephen and
Amy Olson of Huntington Woods, Robert
and Marjorie Olson of Englewood, Calif.;
sister, Fran and Jack Gould of Walled
Lake; brother, Marvin Greenberg of
Detroit; grandchildren, Lindsay, Jessica,
Benjamin, Liam, Colin, Dayna and liana.
She was the sister-in-law of Jerry and
Jeannette Olson, Gary and Judy Olson,
Arthur and Shirley Olson. She was
adored by many nieces and nephews
and other loving family members and a
world of devoted friends.

Bloomfield Relay for Life (to "Team
Esther"). Interment was held at the
Hebrew Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt.
Clemens. Arrangements by Dorfman

SEDMAN, 90, of
Beverly Hills, died Jan.
1, 2012.
She worked in the
deli department at
Dexter Davidson and
Farmer Jack markets.

Mrs. Sedman is
survived by her daughters and sons-in-
law, Sharon and Jeffrey Strichartz of West
Bloomfield, Robin Sedman and Andrew
Clark of Ann Arbor, Joyce and Michael
Dresch of Grand Blanc; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Myron and Peggi Sedman of
Beverly Hills; grandchildren, Michael
Hoff and Theresa Tarrant, Jonathon and
Dawn Hoff, Matthew and Hayley Hoff,
Jessica Strichartz, Aaron Strichartz,
Aaron Sedman, Lilly Sedman-Clark and
Joseph Dresch; great-grandchildren,
Seger, Elliot and Althea Hoff.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Sol Sedman.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
