Lansing Shul
Responds To Hunger
On Friday evening, Jan. 6, Joel Jacob,
the international chairman of Mazon:
A Jewish Response to Hunger, will
speak at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
in East Lansing. His topic will be
"Faith in Action: Our Jewish Mandate
to End Hunger." He will speak at
Shabbat evening worship services at
7:30 p.m.
The synagogue will accept dona-
tions to Mazon and will also collect
cans of soup to benefit the Greater
Lansing Food Bank on the evening of
Jan. 6.
