Mazer 90th

otty Mazer recently celebrated
her 90th birthday. Family from
Metro Detroit and around the
country came to honor her, along with
many of her friends. The event was held
at Mezza Mediterranean Grille in West
Bloomfield. Among the celebrants were
daughter Gail Katz, son Dane Harwood,
daughter Caren Harwood and brother and
sister-in-law Julius and Julie Ginsberg. Also
present were grandchildren Alexa Feldman,
Mara Leichtman, Ari Leichtman, Hava
Leichtman and Bethany Feldman.

to announce the engagement of

their daughter Brooke Erin to Nicholas Earl,
son of Wendall and Lou Cinda Atkins of
Whitmore Lake.
Brooke attends Eastern Michigan
University and will obtain a bachelor of sci-
ence in psychology; then she plans to contin-
ue for her master's in clinical psychology. She
is a hard-working student, her full-time job.
Nick attends Eastern Michigan University,
studying to get his bachelor's in construction
engineering. He works at SME in Plymouth as
a construction engineer technician and has
been with the company for four years.
The couple plans on a ceremony at Edgewood Country Club in Commerce
Township on Oct. 13, 2012.

and Sally Rosenberg, Davee Elkiss, Laura
O'Connor, David and Stacy Markel, Ellen
Rambo (the late Stephen Markel), Jennifer
Gertz and John Talambiras, and Emily Gertz
and Ed Boyak. Her great-grandchildren are
Elizabeth, Isaac, Max, and Noa Elkiss, Dylan
