mitzvah on Saturday,

Dec. 17, at Temple
Emanu El in Oak
Park. Sharing in Leah's simchah will
be her proud big brothers Jordan
and Danny and Leah's bubbie and
zaydie, Beverly and Milton Dunn of
Commerce Township. Leah is also the
granddaughter of the late Norman,
the late Jeanette and the late Esther
Fershtman.
Leah is in the seventh grade
at Berkshire Middle School in
Birmingham. Her mitzvah project
of working at Temple Emanu-El day
camp with 4-year-old children was
very meaningful and helped prepare
her for the future.

Sydni Alyssa Mazer
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West
Bloomfield Saturday,
Dec. 17, during
Havdalah services.
She is the daughter
Mazer
of Terri and Bill
Mazer III and the
sister of Benjamin, Robert and Lucas.
Sharing in the simchah will be grand-
parents Linda Wenson, Coleen Mazer
and Barbara Mazer. Sydni is also the
grandchild of the late Benjamin
Wenson and the late William Mazer Jr.
Sydni attends Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake. She felt volun-
teering at a soup kitchen was a mean-
ingful project to satisfy the community
portion of her mitzvah experience.
