"I'm no different than you are
Jackie says. "Not too long ago, I was
playing golf next to you at the country
club. But now, due to circumstances
beyond my control, I find myself
homeless."
In the mere four months since her
son dropped her off at the home-
less shelter, Jackie consistently
attends Sunday camp meetings and
has become an active member of
MISSION. Participating in several out-
reach events, she has made a signifi-
cant impact not only among her fellow
campers, but to the larger Ann Arbor
community.
As another Michigan winter
approaches, MISSION and Camp Take
Notice are reaching out to the Jewish

community with a wish list: cold
weather camping gear such as new
and used sleeping bags, tarps, flash-
lights or headlamps with batteries,
1-pound propane canisters and 55-
gallon contractor weight garbage bags.
