Shikwana tells about how the sisters
would call him at home if they had a
health issue and how he would open
the office to treat them.
"Once when a sister needed surgery,
he went to the surgeon and said,`Do it
for God,'" she says.
The surgeon operated for free.
"Through all these years, he treated
me just like his own daughter. That
is how he cares about me," Shikwana
says. "But I think it's a habit of Dr.
Mogul. I think he loves his patients."
Like Mogill, she would like to
see closer relations between the
Chaldean and Jewish communities.
"We are cousins and there is a lot
of similarity between us:' she says.
"Look at the Old Testament: We have
the same Five Books of Moses. The
way you believe, we believe.
"It is important to be close to each
other and understand each other:'
she continues."It is not worth it to
keep fighting each other. We
have to respect each other.
