Cancer Thrivers Network
Hosts Nutrition Expert
The Cancer Thrivers Network for
Jewish Women will host a lunch and
demonstration with Dr. Jen Green,
doctor of naturopathic medicine and
head of the Naturopathic Department
at Beaumont Hospital Cancer Center,
at noon, Monday, Dec. 5 at Jerusalem
Pizza in the Jewish Community
Center, 6600 W. Maple Road in West
Bloomfield.
Reservations are required, and there
is a charge of $8 for the kosher lunch
and program. To RSVP, contact Elaine

The Cancer Thrivers Network for
Jewish Women is a program of the
Jewish Community Center whose mis-
sion is to enrich and empower women
cancer survivors through activities,
friendship, resources, education and
humor. The Network welcomes women
who have been diagnosed with any
kind of cancer at any time in their lives.

Inline Hockey Center
Offers Leagues, Classes
The Inline Hockey Center at the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield offers youth leagues for all
skill levels from 6U to 17U.
Registration for youth winter
leagues began Nov. 14 and will run
until Dec. 21; league play begins the
week of Jan. 15.
Sign up as an individual and be
placed on a team or form your own
team and join the Rec division.
The team price is $1,100 and the
individual cost is $185/person; both
options include two team practices.
League play is 10 games with one

guaranteed playoff game.

In Food Drive In Berkley
The Coolidge Collection, including 15
businesses on Coolidge Highway from
Catalpa to Wiltshire in Berkley, will
host open houses at each participating
store 5-8 p.m. Thursday Dec. 1.
In addition, each business will have
empty gift boxes outside to accept
donations of non-perishable foods for
the community's "12 Days of Giving-
Plus a Little" drive.

gram and bracelet exhibit/sale will be
at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22.
