The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program provides religious, social, and cultural support and
programs for Jewish residents of non-Jewish care facilities, throughout the tri-county area, who are
lonely, may have no family that visits them, or may have recently lost a loved one.

Topics for this evening will include: Understanding the Elderly, The spiritual aspect of Jewish Hospice,
Assisting Jewish Elderly in Non-Jewish Facilities, and the A-Z's of Volunteering.

Volunteer Opportunities include, but are not limited to: Friendly visiting, Reminiscence Group
participation, Holiday Parcel Delivery, Facility Laison, assist with Oneg Shabbat services and other
various programs.

In addition to featured speaker, Carol Rosenberg, Director of Jewish Senior Life Foundation,
conversation and training will be conducted by professionals in the fields of Administration, Social
Work, Therapeutic Activities, and Chaplaincy.
