JOSEPH L. POLSTER,
84, of West Bloomfield,
died Oct. 31, 2011.
He was originally
from Toronto, Ontario.
Mr. Polster was an
honored World War II
veteran in the Canadian
Poister
Armed Forces.
He was the beloved
husband for 62 years of Geraldine
Poister; loving father of Sandra (Steven)
Grossman, Robin (Larry) Banker, Eric
Polster; proud grandfather, "Pa," of
Geoffrey (Tina) Grossman, Andrew
(Maureen) Grossman, Juke Polster and
Kelly Banker; adoring great-grandfather
of Marci Grossman; also survived by his
nephew, Matthew O'Connor.
Mr. Polster was the loving father of the
late Marc Polster; dear brother of the late
Bernice O'Connor.
A private family service was held

HARRY POMERANTZ, 98, of Topeka,
Kan., died Oct. 24, 2011.
His family and friends will miss his lively
spirit while he was in Topeka for the past
51/2 years. He was a real estate broker and a
passionate poker player. He loved to sing.
His wife, Ruth, preceded him in death
in 2004.
He is survived by two sisters, Norma
Katz and Yetta Pomerantz; three chil-
dren, Dr. Sanford Pomerantz and Linda
Pomerantz of Hollywood, Calif., and
Carole Pomerantz of Orange County, Calif.
He was a beloved uncle and grandfather to
Jennifer, Joanna, Katie, Eric and Dallas. His
great-grandchildren are Thorsten, Sven,
Maja-Rei, Morgan and Micah.

RENEE ROCHLIN, 80, of Franklin, died
Oct. 31, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Morris
Rochlin; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael
and Karen Egren of Bloomfield Hills,

Mrs. Rochlin was the beloved wife of the
late Norman Egren; the cherished mother
of the late Barbara Rochlin; the loving
sister of the late Shirley Klein, the late
Saul Dicken and the late Albert Dicken;
the dear sister-in-law of the late Harry
Klein, the late Marion Dicken; the devoted
daughter of the late Jennie and the late
David Dicken.
Interment was held at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may be

EDITH ROSENBERG, 95, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 30, 2011.

children, Debra and Miles Singer, Jeffrey
Feldman and Deborah Hoehne, Stephen
and Lauren Carson, and Amy and Jeffrey
Schlussel; great-grandchildren, Jessica,
Stephanie and Maxwell Singer, Sabrina
and Tony Carson, Jacob, Lindsay and Mia
Schlussel; niece and nephews, Marcia and
Dr. Lawrence Ross and Richard Saks.
Mrs. Rosenberg was the beloved wife
of the late George Rosenberg; the loving
sister of the late Julie Hortick.
