their 60th wedding anniversary
at a family dinner. Ben Kaufman married
Estelle Creed on Oct. 7, 1951, in Toronto,
Ontario. He has been an orthodontist for 50
years, a Mason and a Shriner. He is a veteran
of World War II. The couple have four chil-
dren, Therese and David Leyton, Joel and
Nancy Kaufman, Dr. Sheryl Weissman, and
Alisa and David Raider, and 11 grandchil-
dren.

elen Schneider of West
Bloomfield celebrated her
90th birthday on Nov. 8 with
her family. She is the wife of the late Sam
Schneider. Her children are Susan and
Jeff Schneider, Lesley and Ted Schneider,
Barbara and Harvey DeWitt, and Marcy and
Milan Pantelic. Her grandchildren are Diane
and Tom Devendorf, Barbara and Joey
Schneider, Alicia and Adam Acey, Niki and
Ian Freed, Danielle and Brett Todd, Jessica
and Jared DeWitt, Jamie and John Fidler,
Molly, Matthew and Samantha Pantelic, and
Lily. Her great-grandchildren are Sara and
Leah Devendorf, Sydney and Jeffrey Schneider, Jacob, Amanda, and Justin Acey,
Hayden and Sloane Freed, Fiona and Quinn Todd, and Emme DeWitt. Her family
