Marc Sakwa, M.D., a second generation
surgeon, is chief of Cardiovascular Surgery
at Beaumont Hospital in Royal 00k. At the
Beaumont Valve Center, he and his colleagues
are performing innovative, leading edge
procedures, such as replacing aortic valves
through small, 3-inch incisions and repairing
and replacing heart valves using a tiny catheter.
