Saudi Prince Offers $900,000
To Capture Of Israeli Soldier
JERUSALEM (JTA) — A member of
Saudi Arabia's royal family has offered
a $900,000 reward for the capture of
an Israeli soldier.
The offer, made by Prince Khaled
bin Talal on a national television chan-
nel, comes days after prominent Saudi
cleric Sheik Awadh al-Qarani floated a
$100,000 offer for capturing an Israeli
soldier.
The prince said the captured Israeli
soldier would be traded for Arab pris-
oners held in Israeli jails, according to
news service reports.
The offer comes after Israel agreed
to release more than 1,000 Palestinian
prisoners in exchange for the freedom
of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

Released Terrorists Express
Pride In Their Actions
(JointMedia News Service) — The
Palestinian prisoners released in the
Gilad Shalit deal continue to take
pride in their terrorist acts.
Ahlam Tamimi, who assisted in
the August 9, 2001, bombing of the
Sbarro's pizzeria in Jerusalem, which
killed 15 and wounded 130 people,
said in an interview translated by the
Middle East Media Research Institute
(MEMRI) that "I do not regret what
happened. Absolutely not. This is the
path. I dedicated myself to Jihad for
the sake of Allah, and Allah granted
me success!'
Released terrorist Muhammad Abu
Ataya said Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu "can make as many warn-
ings as he likes," according to MEMRI.
"His warnings and threats will not
deter us from continuing the journey
of resistance, on which we embarked
decades ago:' Ataya said.
Ashley Biden, 30, and Krein
reportedly dated for a year before
they became engaged in September,
according to reports. Biden is a social
worker. Krein is an ear, nose and
throat specialist at Jefferson Hospital
in Philadelphia.
In her Naked Philadelphian blog,
Laura Goldman wrote that "Employees
of Jefferson Hospital told me that
Howard is proud of being Jewish, so
expect some Jewish elements at the
wedding. Maybe that will shut up
some of Obama's Jewish critics!'
Hallie Biden, married to the vice
president's son, Beau, is also Jewish.
Former New York Mayor
Calls For Pollard's Release
(JointMedia News Service) —
Former New York City Mayor David
Dinkins, who first asked for Jonathan
Pollard's release during the Clinton
Administration in 1993, renewed
his call in a recent letter to President
Barack Obama.
On Nov. 21, Pollard will enter his
27th year in federal prison. His offense
— one count of passing classified
information to an ally (Israel) without
intent to harm the United States —
"ordinarily carries a two-to-four year
sentence," Dinkins noted in a letter
distributed by Justice for Jonathan
Pollard Oct. 24.
According to Dinkins, the first black
mayor of New York, Pollard "pled
guilty under a plea agreement with
which he fully complied but that was
apparently ignored by the sentencing
judge.
"Mr. Pollard has repeatedly
expressed remorse for his actions and,
by all accounts, has been a model pris-
oner," Dinkins wrote.
