projects included volunteering at the
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.

Oren Shaul Lerner
will lead services
and read from the
Torah on Thursday
morning, Nov. 3, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm in West
Bloomfield. He is

the son of Sharona
Shapiro and David
Lerner, brother of Yoni, Elisheva and
Ayelet and brother-in-law of Aaron.
Oren is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Oren will also be
called to the Torah and will volunteer
for several social service agencies in
Israel this coming Chanukah.

Nov. 4, at Temple Shir Shalom in
West Bloomfield. Proud grandparents
are Sid and Donna Rosenberg, John
and Brenda Millard and Frances
Cambrai-Bell of England. They are
also the grandchildren of the late
Allen Abels.
Chloe and Mia are students
at Meads Mill Middle School in
Northville. They are active in helping
the community.

Shalom Saturday,
Oct. 28. Proud grandparents are
Cookie and Alan Pearlman and
Marcia and Carl Moskowitz.
Ellie attends the Roeper School in
Bloomfield Hills. Her mitzvah project
involved creating a carnival on the
Sunday of the bat mitzvah weekend
for children in Detroit who did not
have the opportunity to trick or treat.

bar mitzvah
Saturday, Nov. 5, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue in
Rotenberg
Farmington Hills.
He is the son of
Marci and Steve Rotenberg and
brother of Sydni and Logan. Proud
grandparents are Rena and Larry
Singer, Zona and Richard Ribiat, and
Emily and Norman Rotenberg of
Lake Mary, Fla.
Max is a student at Dunckel Middle
School in Farmington Hills. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Ruby. Sharing in the simchah will be
his proud grandparents Sherry and
Gary Citrin and Joseph Shulman.
Alex is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. He felt volun-
teering at Yad Ezra in Berkley was a
meaningful mitzvah project.
