Foreclosure Prevention
Homeowners at risk of foreclosure
have options to try and save their
homes. JVS, a nonprofit human ser-
vices agency, provides a free foreclo-
sure prevention class to Metro Detroit
residents who cannot pay their
mortgage or have already received a
foreclosure notice.
For information or to schedule
a private session, contact Clarissa
McMillion at (248) 233-4482 or email
cmcmillion@jvsdet.org. The program
is funded by the Michigan State
Housing Authority (MSHDA).
JVS also provides other home-
buyer education classes as well as
employment services, rehabilitation
programs for people with disabilities,
senior adult services and other pro-
grams.

upcoming Hillel Day School Open
House 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9,
at the school. The event will include
opportunities to meet faculty and
administrators and explore the facility.
Complimentary babysitting is
available with prior RSVP/res-
ervation. A group tour 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 10, will let parents see
Hillel "in action."
