will participate in the ceremony. Proud
grandparents are Judy and Norman
Sommers of Bloomfield Hills and Ilene
Gretchko of West Bloomfield. Ben is
also the grandson of the late Seymour
Gretchko.
Ben is a seventh-grader at Derby
Middle School in Birmingham. His
most meaningful bar mitzvah project
was helping out at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Remer will celebrate
her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 22,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe in West
Bloomfield. She is the
daughter of Danielle
Remer
and Gary Remer, sis-
ter of Lindsay and the
granddaughter of Mel Hersh, Joann
Remer, the late Beverly Hersh and the
late Murray Remer.
Hallie is in the seventh grade at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Following her love for the
sport, her most meaningful mitzvah
project is volunteering in the TOPS
Soccer program for children with spe-
cial needs.

Synagogue in
Farmington Hills
on Saturday, Oct. 22.

ceremony will be his parents, Beth and
Larry, and brothers Jared and Noah.
Proud grandparents are Faigel and Len
Shapiro of Calgary, Alberta. Aaron is
also the grandson of the late Shirley
and the late Ernest Hirsch.
Aaron is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. For his mitzvah
project, he volunteered his time at Yad
Ezra in Berkley.

Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. Dov's sister, Abby, is very
proud of him. Sharing in the simchah
will be proud grandparents, Dr. Robert
and Arlene Niskar and Barry and
Marcia Seifman. Dov is also the great-
grandson of the late William and
Dorothy Niskar and Jerome and Hilda
Kirschbaum.

Kingswood Boys Middle School.

Farmington Hills. She is the sister of
Dr. Robert, Dr. Elizabeth, Margaret and
fiance Dr. Neal Kravitz, Pauline and
Dr. Daniel Feldman, Katherine and
Nathan Fink, and Pamela. Meridith
is the granddaughter of Edith Keidan
and the late Milford Keidan, and the
late Gertrude and Dr. Meyer Pensler.
Meridith attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Her mitz-
vah project was collecting food for Yad
Ezra in Berkley
