Eight-Week Training For
Job Seekers In Their 20s
CommunityNEXT is launching a pro-
gram for job seekers in their 20s. The
eight-week "Elevate" program expands
peer networks, helps participants
develop their personal brand and
offers opportunities with employers
that would otherwise be inaccessible.
The sessions balance collaborative
critiquing from peers and additional
guidance from an employment coun-
selor to prepare job seekers for interac-
tions with employers. Participants will
also get help in refining their market-
ing strategies each week. The final ses-
sion provides an opportunity to meet
with prospective employers where job
seekers will present a personal pitch.
There is no charge, but space is
limited. Sessions begin Nov. 1. Apply at
www.communitynxt.com/elevate.
