Southfield, died Oct. 3, 2011.
A structural engineer, Mr. Richelew
received a bachelor's degree and mas-
ter's degree in architecture from the
University of Michigan. He was with
Hubbell, Roth and Clark for 11 years.
A member of Board of Professional
Engineers and the American Society
of Civil Engineering, he participated
in many projects, which were a part
of the Oakland County Rouge River
Combined Sewer Overflow Retention
Treatment Facilities, consisting of
the Acacia Retention Treatment Tank
(RTB), a 4-million gallon underground
concrete storage tank at Evergreen
Road and the Rouge River and the
Bloomfield Village RTB, a 10-million
gallon underground concrete storage
tank at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course
at Evergreen and Lincoln roads.
Another major project was the
Birmingham RTB, a 5.5-million gal-
lon underground concrete storage
tank in the neighborhood of Lincoln
and Southfield roads. Mr. Richelew
also developed a computer program
to do the structural computations for
these very large underground concrete
storage tanks in the early 1990s. The
program saved an immense amount of
time in doing the structural calcula-
tions.
He is survived by his children, Sarah
and Kenneth Davidoff of New York
City, N.Y., Josh and Laura Richelew
of Ann Arbor, Rebecca and George
Anders of Troy; brother and sister-in-
law, Meryl "Rich" and Susan Richelew
of Hopkinton, Mass.; grandchildren,
Jonathan Davidoff, Luukas Anders,
Olivia Anders, Cole Anders; nephew,
Geoff Richelew; other relatives and
friends.

ANITA ROSENBERG, 84, of

Southfield, died Oct. 16, 2011.
She is survived by daughters
and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Randy
Feldman of West Bloomfield,
Rosalyn and Mark Hertzberg of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Jeremy
Feldman, Matthew Feldman, Rachel
(Chris) Hulen and Michael (LeAnn)
Hertzberg.
Mrs. Rosenberg was the beloved
wife of the late Leonard M. Rosenberg.

Contributions may be made to
St. John's Hospice or to a charity of
one's choice. Interment was held
at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery
in Birmingham. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

BEATRICE SOLOMON, 97, of Detroit,
New York and Palm Beach, died peace-
fully Oct. 10, 2011.
As the founder and owner of Jane
Baum Interiors, she continued to work
into her 90s. She had grand style,
impeccable taste and a sharp mind.
She was one of a kind and will be
deeply missed.
Mrs. Solomon was the beloved wife
of Sydney R. Solomon for 65 years;
devoted mother of Steven and Lauri
Solomon, Susan (Solomon) Waterfall
and the late Bruce Waterfall. She
is survived by her grandchildren,
Spencer and Bonnie (Sokol) Solomon,
Randy Solomon, Scott and Sarah
(Guyer) Straus, Jacquie (Solomon)
and Brian Lederman, Kate (Solomon)
and Michael Komorn, Jane Waterfall,
and John Waterfall. She was the great
grandmother of Hannah, Brandon,
Ethan, Sadie, Zoe, Lyla, Solomon
and Zachary. One of 10 children, she
is survived by her brother, Stanley
Tananbaum.
A private ceremony was held in
Westchester, N.Y.

GREGORY ZACK, formerly of Detroit
and Los Angeles, Calif., died Aug. 23,
2011.
He was born and raised in Detroit
and Huntington Woods. He attended
University of Michigan and Wayne
State law School. Mr. Zack had been
living in Los Angeles for the last 40
years. He was engaged in real estate
and financing.
Mr. Zack is survived by his wife,
Ann; two children, Aaron and Sarah;
and two brothers, Ronald (Suzanne)
of Bloomfield Hills and Daryl of San
Diego.
