Mr. Kaplan was the beloved hus- band of the late Beatrice (Lieberman) Kaplan, to whom he was married for 69 years. His siblings and their spouses all predeceased him: Louis Kaplan, Julius and Lena Kaplan, Lillian and Sol Altman, Rose and Irving Miller, Samuel and Estelle Kaplan, Florence Kaplan, and sister-in-law Lillian R. Lieberman. Mr. Kaplan was the father- in-law of the late Myron Bordman. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Arlene Bordman of West Bloomfield; his son and daughter-in- law, Joel and Anna Kaplan of Chicago; grandchildren, Ethan and Marilyn Bordman of Manhattan; Rachel Tucker of Farmington Hills, Mark and Deborah Kaplan of Westfield, N.J., Brian and Rachel Kaplan of Los Angeles; and four great-grandchildren.
