The event is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek on Bell Road in Southfield. Hoffman has been called "the most optimistic man in Israel" by Israel Television and provides a behind the scenes look at the intrigue and humor in the Israeli political arena.
