David Dietrich, Ph.D. of
Birmingham, training and super-
vising analyst with the Michigan
Psychoanalytic Institute, has been
appointed president of the Michigan
Psychoanalytic Institute (MPI)
for a three-year term. He succeeds
Dwarakanath Rao, M.D. of Ann
Arbor. Dietrich is also past presi-
dent of the Michigan Psychoanalytic
Society. For over 50 years, MPI has
been the premier training institution
for mental health professionals and
academics to train in psychoanalysis
and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Joey S. Niskar was selected as a
2011 Super Lawyer by Michigan
Super Lawyers magazine in the area
of employment litigation. This is the
third year in a row that Niskar has
been awarded this distinction. He
dedicates his practice to representing
employees and employers in employ-
ment-related cases throughout the
federal and state courts. Niskar is the
founder of the Niskar Law Firm PLLC
in Bingham Farms.
