Filanovsky. David's proud grandpar-

ents are Sonya and Efim Perchikovsky
of Farmington Hills and Eta and
Anatoly Filanovsky of Commerce
Township. Also sharing in the simchah
were his uncle Ilya Perchikovsky of
San Francisco and aunt Dina and her
husband Matt Trainor of Boston.
David is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
One of his most meaningful and ongo-
ing mitzvah projects involves volun-
teering at JARC.

Boulder, Colo., will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary
Oct. 14.A surprise party was given for them
earlier this year. They continue to feel very
blessed to be able to share celebrations with
their family. They love spending time and
taking trips with their children and grand-

I

rving Novetsky of Oak Park celebrated
his 95th birthday on Sept. 25 sur-
rounded by family and friends. To mark
this milestone, a family gathering was hosted
by his children, Howard and Laurie Novets
and Michael Novetsky. Grandchildren Jason
and Kathy Novetsky, Eric and Melissa Novets
Sarah and Todd Wolfe and Ryan Novetsky as
well as great-grandchildren, Drew, Griffin,
Micole, Ari and Lily, and many friends were
there to join in wishing many more years of
health and happiness.
