Jewish Community Relations Council
(JCRC). Lipton has distinguished
herself through her
extensive leadership
roles in Jewish and
civic organizations.

Sharon Lipton
Lipton currently
serves as the State
Public Affairs Chair and a member of
the NCJW national board. She also is
chairperson of the Michigan Jewish
Conference. Lipton is the past presi-
dent of the West Bloomfield Education
Foundation and a former trustee of
the West Bloomfield School Board.
Actively involved in the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit
since 1980, Lipton has served as an
officer of its Women's Department and
has chaired numerous committees and
programs within Federation.
She is a former trustee of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, and
has previously served on the boards
