of Boca Raton, Fla.,
died Sept. 15, 2011.
Mrs. Shipko
was active in the
Congregation B'nai
Torah in Florida. She
was also a volunteer
Shipko
of Women with Alpha
Omega and Hadassah.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Phillip
Shipko of Boca Raton; daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Daniel Orman
of West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Alexander Lee Orman, Blake Spencer
Orman; sister-in-law, Joan Clayman.
Mrs. Shipko was the beloved wife of
33 years of the late Dr. Leo Shipko; lov-
ing sister and sister-in-law of the late
Dr. Charles and the late Dorothy Green
and the late Jack Green.

Mrs. Spilkevitz was the loving sister
of the late Irwin Itskovitz.

of Farmington Hills,
died Sept. 13, 2011.
He was the owner
of Progressive
Insurance Resources.
Mr. Wolfe is sur-

by his wife of 36

Wolfe-Christensen and Kyle Christensen
of Canton; son, Jordan Wolfe of Detroit;

JTA Suzy Eban, 90, wife of the late Israeli
diplomat Abba Eban, died Sept. 15, 2011.
Her nephew, Israeli
Knesset member Yitzhak
Herzog, said, "Throughout
her life, she demonstrated
a deep commitment to
the establishment of the
state and to its welfare'
She had an upper-
middle class-colonial
childhood in Ismailiya,
Egypt, educated in three
languages. She was wooed
by Aubrey Eban, a British
army captain and Cambridge lecturer, who
became Israel's first U.N. ambassador.
Suzy "dedicated herself to her brilliant hus-
band;' who later was pushed out of prominence
in political circles by Labor Party stalwarts such
as Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres and Golda Meir.
She headed the Israel Cancer Association for
nearly four decades. One of her sisters is the
widow of Chaim Herzog, Israel's sixth presi-
dent. Her son, Eli Eban, is a prominent classical
clarinetist.
