aula Shaevitz and Josh Sklar were
married at the Palmer House in
Chicago. Rabbi Lisa Greene of North
Shore Congregation Israel of Glencoe, Ill.,
performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Helene and
Steve Shaevitz of Highland Park, Ill. The
groom is the son of Beth and Robert Sklar of
Farmington Hills.
The couple was proud to have Paula's
grandmother, Rose Grossinger, among the
guests. The couple lovingly remembered
other grandparents Paul Grossinger, Bernice
and Irving Shaevitz, Jean and Irving Rosen,
and Dorothy and Joseph Sklar.
Following a honeymoon cruise through the
Panama Canal, the couple reside in Evanston, Ill.
