He is survived by his beloved wife,
Suzanne Schwartz; daughter and son-
in-law, Amy and Richard Zielinski of
Rochester Hills; sister and brother-
in-law, Toby and Herbert Gubow of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Melissa (Dave) Van Slambrouck,
Lauren Zielinski. Philip is also sur-
vived by many loving family members
and friends.

ANNE SUKENIC, 91, of Oak Park,
died Sept. 10, 2011.
Mrs. Sukenic was a lifetime member
and chapter president of Hadassah.
She is survived by her son, Harvey
Sukenic of Brookline, Mass.; daugh-
ters, Karen Sukenic (Dara Efron) of
Berkeley, Calif., Doreen (Marvin)
Estrin of San Diego; brother, Isadore
Averbuch; grandchildren, David
Estrin, Jaclyn Estrin, Emma Efron and
Ari Efron; many loving nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Sukenic was the beloved wife
of the late Sam Sukenic; the dear sister
and sister-in-law of the late Gilbert
(the late Sophie) Averbuch, the late
Sidney (the late Betty) Averbuch, the
late Harry (the late Ruth) Averbuch
and the late Edith Averbuch.
Interment was at Beth Tefilo
Emanuel Cemetery in Ferndale.

DR. MURRAY
VINNIK, D.C., died
on Sept.10, 2011.
Dr. Vinnik was a
proud war veteran
of World War II who
served honorably
in Italy and Africa.

He practiced chi-
ropractic medicine
for 62 years: 52 in
Michigan and 10 in Arizona.
He was an active member of Har
Zion Congregation, past president
of Jewish Federation of Lansing, the
Michigan Chiropractic Association
and was well known in many Jewish
and secular philanthropic organiza-
tions.
At the time of his death, he was
surrounded by his wife of 62 years,
Roslyn Hurwitz Vinnik; daughter,
Dr. Andrea Kutinsky; son Lloyd;
and grandsons, Dr. Joshua Kutinsky,
Jonathon Kutinsky and Ethan
Kutinsky. He is also survived by
his grandchildren's spouses, Bryan
Hudson and Leah Wiseman Fink; and
dozens of nieces, nephews, great- and
great-great-nieces and nephews and
cousins.
His smile and laughter will be great-
ly missed by all.
