Michigan ADL Announces
New Officers And Board
The Michigan Regional Office
of the Anti-Defamation League
announced its new slate of officers
and board members for 2011-2012.
Alexander Stotland, a litigation
partner at the Law Firm of Hertz
Schram PC in
Bloomfield Hills,
is the new region-
al board chair.
Stotland brings
a wealth of expe-
rience, having
been involved
Alex Stotland
with the ADL
for a decade.
After participating in the Shana
Glass Leadership Institute in New
York, he served on the Michigan
Regional Board and Executive
Committee and has chaired the
Michigan Region Sills-Glass
Leadership Institute and the
International Affairs Committee.
His Vice Chairs are Eli Scherr,
Brad Schram and Leonard Sahn.
Betsy Kellman, regional director,
thanks immediate past chair Elaine
Sturman, who is stepping down
after serving as regional board
chair for two years.
New executive committee mem-
bers are Robert Bick and Deborah
Kovsky-Apap, both attorneys, and
will each serve three-year terms.
New board members, elected for
a three-year term, are Matt Cohn,
Rob Colburn, David Eisenberg,
Marjory Epstein, Julie Fisher, Todd
Kroll, Rachel Lubetsky, Alyssa
Martina, Jeffrey Robbins and Patty
Stamler.
ADL board meetings are open to
the public. The opening meeting
will be held on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Also, ADL will hold its annual ADL
Knollwood Country Club event
with dinner and entertainment
provided by acclaimed actor and
stand-up comedian Kevin Pollak
on Nov. 16.

IRP Photography Show
Opens At Oak Park JCC
The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit's Institute for
Retired Professionals (IRP) will
host its annual Photography Exhibit
through Sept. 28 at the JCC in Oak
Park.
The event, featuring photos on a
variety of subjects, is free and open
to the public. All photographs were
taken by members of the IRP.
