RUBEN ISAACS,
90, of West
Bloomfield, died
Aug. 2, 2011.
He was the
owner of Ruben
Advertising Agency
for over 60 years.
Isaacs
Mr. Isaacs is
c. 1989
survived by his
wife of 67 years,
Irene Isaacs; daughters and sons-
in-law, Fay and Stuart Stone of
West Bloomfield, Carol Sher and
Eric Winter of Montgomery Village,
Md., Debra and David Rosenberg
of Waltham, Mass.; grandchildren,
Robert Stone, Jeffrey Stone, Shane
and Ann Sher and Drew Rosenberg;
brothers and sister-in-law, Irving
Isaacs, Emanuel and Lila Isaacs. He
is also survived by loving nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Isaacs was the beloved son of
the late Bernard and the late Bell
Isaacs; the dear brother of the late
Annette Dvorin.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

NATHAN KATZ,
89, of West
Bloomfield, died
Aug. 2, 2011.
He was the long-
time owner of the
furniture store
House of Maple,
Katz
Oak and Pine. He
lived every day of his 89 incredible
years to the fullest, experiencing
Florida winters and Michigan sum-
mers. He loved boating on the aptly
named Katz and Kittens speedboat,
fishing, sunbathing, smoking his
pipe and being an unending source
of love and support for his family.
While Mr. Katz will be sorely
missed, the family feels honored to
celebrate a man who so truly made
his mark on the lives of all those he
touched.
He is survived by his wife, Esther
Katz; daughters and sons-in-law,
Marlene and Harvey Goodman,
Joanne and Terry Nosan, Dianne and
John Politzer; son and daughter-in-
law, Jerry and Cathy Katz; grandchil-
dren, Lainie Phillip, Stacey Bernson,
Brian (Tara) Katz, Eric Katz, Marissa
Katz, Loren, Blair and Stephanie
Nosan; great-grandchildren, Zoe,
Blake, Sammy, Logan, Jake and
Sydney; sister-in-law, Edith Katz;

stepsister, Natalie Lankin.
Mr. Katz was the dear brother of
the late Boris Katz, the late Harry
Katz and the late Richard Lankin.
