on June 11, 1961, are grateful to
announce the 50th anniversary of
their marriage. Their children, Sheldon
Olson, Susan and Jeff Bitnias, Hilary and
Charles Mechler, Stacey and Adam Sachs,
and brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and
Esther Olson, surprised the couple with a
brunch at Pine Lake Country Club attended
by family and friends. A family cruise to the
Bahamas with their children and grandchil-
dren, Justin, Jonah and Aidan Sachs, Jordin
and Lauren Mechler, Louis Light, Jeffrey and
Sidney Bitnias, Max and Joey Olson, culmi-
nated this wonderful celebration.

Hills. Their children and grandchildren,

and Lori, Darren and Hannah Rodner,
sponsored a kiddush in their honor, along
with a dinner later that evening and a buffet

avid and Barbara Goode hap-
pily announce the engagement
of their daughter Lisa Goode to
John McHugh, son of Michael McHugh and
Eileen Conroy.
Lisa, formerly of Bloomfield Hills, earned
her bachelor's degree in integrative physi-
ology from the University of Colorado at
Boulder. She owns the personal training
business Body Intelligence Fitness LLC in
Boulder.
John earned his bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering, also from the
University of Colorado at Boulder. With
their love and passion for health, fitness and nutrition, Lisa and John began an
organic snack company based in Boulder called the Naked Edge LLC.
An October mountain wedding is planned near Estes Park, Colo. Rock climb-
ing and the great outdoors will keep them in Boulder for a long time.
