Scrabblethon at Young Israel of Oak Park benefits NCSY group.

bout 20 people gathered Sunday, July 24, at Young Israel of Oak Park for the
eighth annual Scrabblethon, organized by Aviva Finander, to benefit the
National Conference of Synagogue Youth. Tables and refreshments were set
up for participants who "got their game on" from 7-10 p.m.
"Some people brought partners, others were matched up, and we had several chil-
dren participate as weir said Ruth Rothenberg of Young Israel. "It was a fun evening."
All together, Scrabble players raised $400 for NCSY.
