Israel Scout Caravan interacts with crowd in Oak Park.

This year, they had the crowd singing and dancing with them July 10 at Rothstein
Park, adjacent to the JCC in Oak Park, and then again July 12 at the JCC in West
Bloomfield.
The Tzofim come from all parts of Israel and represent many ethnic groups. Their
show brought home the diversity and majesty of Israel. Fl

ou know it's summer when the Israel Scouts Friendship Caravan performs
at both Jewish Community Centers in Metro Detroit. The teen Scouts, called
Tzofim in Hebrew, are energetic ambassadors from Israel who travel North
America performing Israeli songs and dances, interacting with audiences and showing
off the vigor of their country.
