T amarack Camps kicked off its 109th summer with its fourth Annual Tamarack Family Fun Day. A record 1,700 campers, parents, family members and friends gathered at Camp Maas in Ortonville on June 26 for a day of sun and fun. All camp activity areas were open and staffed by 2011 Camp Maas staff members. Many attendees expressed how beautiful the camp's grounds looked and how friendly Tamarack staff and board members greeted them. Linda Ishbia, Tamarack board member, said, "Everywhere I was in camp, I saw smiles. Parents, grand- parents, campers, siblings and camp staff all soaked up the special atmosphere of our beloved campgrounds. It was a picture-perfect day. I give Tamarack Camps applause and a standing ovation." For more pictures from Family Fun Day, see Tamarack Camps on Facebook.
