Davidoff Heads
Deloitte Michigan

ark Davidoff of Deloitte
Financial Advisory Services
LLP (Deloitte FAS) has been
named managing partner of Deloitte's
Michigan practice.
Davidoff now
leads the area's larg-
est accounting and
consulting firm, a
practice with about
900 employees in
Southeast Michigan
and more than 1,000
Mark Davidoff
in the state. He replac-
es Joe Angileri, now
president and COO of Compuware Corp.
"To get this appointment in my
hometown — at this stage of my career
and at this stage of the state's rebirth
— is magical': said Davidoff of West
Bloomfield. He and his wife, Margie
Dunn, have two sons, Avi and Kale.
Davidoff joined Deloitte after 12 years
at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit, where he served as CFO and
executive director/COO. He also was
treasurer and secretary of the Jewish
Fund since its inception in 1997 (after
the sale of Sinai Hospital) through his
tenure at Federation.
"I am extremely proud of Mark and
his accomplishments and know he will
continue to serve the Jewish community
as a volunteer as he has in the past:' said
Robert Aronson, Federation consultant
and president of the Birthright Israel
Foundation. "I know Mark would credit
his training at Federation as one of the
major influences on his life. We were
delighted to have him, and we wish him
all the best"
As a volunteer, Davidoff's most vis-
ible position in the Jewish community
has been as immediate past president
of the Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit; he currently chairs
its executive committee.
Davidoff joined Deloitte after work-
ing in public accounting, health care
and social services. He has more than
30 years of professional experience in
Southeast Michigan, including the last
six as a regional leader of Deloitte's
Forensic & Dispute Services practice.
A Crain's Detroit "40 Under 40" recipi-
ent, Davidoff is a board member for the
Children's Trust Fund and a past board
member for the Michigan Roundtable
for Diversity and Inclusion and the
Oakland County Mental Health Board.
Davidoff is a certified public accoun-
tant with an undergraduate degree
in accounting from Wayne State
University and a master's in manage-
ment from Northwestern University's
Kellogg School of Management.
