IRWIN "EDDIE" GOLDMAN, 88, of
West Bloomfield, died June 26, 2011.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Bruce and Brigitte Goldman
of West Bloomfield; daughter and son-

Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Michael
and Jordyn Goldman, Robert Goldman,

RUTH GELLMAN, of Coronado, Calif.,
died after a brief bout with pneumonia
on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
She was born Ruth Shirley Sherman in
Detroit in 1937 and lived much of her life
in Southfield. She waged a valiant battle
against multiple sclerosis for 28 years.
Prior to her illness, she took pleasure in
running and sailing with her family and
was a steadfast friend with a keen mind
and a tireless advocate for animals. She
enjoyed reading and playing bridge.
Mrs. Gellman is survived by her
daughter, Leslie Sommers, and her hus-
band, Robert; her son, Andrew Gellman,
and his wife, Nicole; their children, Jake
and Brooke She was preceded in death
by her husband Marvin.
