aryn and Jerry Acker of
Huntington Woods are delighted to
announce the engagement of their
son Jordan Benjamin to Lauren Patricia Fell,
daughter of Bonnie Podolsky of Chicago and
David and Amy Fell of Northbrook, Ill.
The couple graduated from the University
of Michigan, where they met. Jordan has
a law degree from American University in
Washington, D.C., and Lauren has a master's
in education from Johns Hopkins.
Jordan is an adviser to Secretary Janet
Napolitano in the Department of Homeland
Security. Lauren teaches fourth grade at a
charter school in northeast Washington, D.C.
The couple reside in Washington and plan a summer 2012 wedding in
Chicago.
