original buddies (Zach Galifianakis
and Bradley Cooper) are back, as well;
and Jeffrey Tambor, 66, has a large
supporting role.
The sequel, like the
original, is directed
by Todd Phillips, 39.
He was born Todd

In 2009, Phillips
recalled that he told

Mike Tyson, who had a small role in the
original, that he was not punching cor-

said, replied, "Oh, man, this is great.

I'm getting taught to punch by the cap-
tain of the Jewish debating team."

The son of Polish-Jewish refugees,
Sir Jacob Epstein (1880-1959) was an
American-born British artist who helped
pioneer modern sculpture. But his first
artistic ventures were on paper (his inter-
est in drawing was nurtured during long
periods of illness as a child on the Lower
East Side). Artspace II exhibits Epstein's

coincidence, both actresses have star-
ring roles on TV series that have just
been placed on the fall schedule.
Dennings, whose original last name
is Litwack, co-stars in the CBS com-
edy 2 Broke Girls as a "streetwise"
waitress at a Brooklyn greasy spoon.
She teams up with another (formerly
rich) waitress to save their tips and
thus pursue their dream of opening
their own eatery one day.
Goodwin stars in the ABC fantasy-
drama Once Upon a Time as a tough
bail bondsman who is contacted by
the 10-year-old son she gave up at
birth for adoption. She moves to his
quaint New England town, where
she discovers that she and the other
townsfolk may have been born into an
alternate "fairy tale" universe.
