Hunter and Natalie. Sharing in the joy
will be her proud grandparents Carol
R. and Gerson Cooper and Christine
Perri. She is also the grandchild of the
late Ernestine Symonds.
Claudia attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Among her
many mitzvah projects, raising aware-
ness and funds for Chai Lifeline was
the most meaningful.

Tatiana Collette
Cripps, daughter of
David Cripps and
Gabi Silver and sister
of Natalie, celebrated
her bat mitzvah at
Temple Emanu-El in
Oak Park on Friday,
Cripps
April 30. She is the
granddaughter of
Robert and Pauline Cripps and the late
Eddie and Sybil Silver.
Tatiana is a seventh-grade student at
Norup International in Oak Park. Her
mitzvah projects included volunteer-
ing at the Holocaust Memorial Center
and JARC.

Jennifer is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Making blankets
for homeless cats and kittens at the
Humane Society was the mitzvah proj-
ect she felt to be the most meaningful,

Yale is a seventh-grade student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. For one of
his mitzvah projects, he made blankets
for animals at the Michigan Humane
Society.

He is the brother of
Jenna and the grandchild of Marsha
and Jerome Moss and Linda and

Jared attends Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake. His most
meaningful mitzvah project involved
providing Magic Hugs, which are
Beanie Babies wrapped in handmade
blankets to Kids Kicking Cancer.

called to the Torah
as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 28, at
Temple Beth El in
Bloomfield Township.
Pernick
Her grandparents are
Anne Pernick and the
late Larry Pernick, Ann White and the
late Dr. Arnold White. Leah is also the
sister of Sam and Rachel.
Leah is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park. Her
mitzvah projects included assisting
seniors and playing violin for them at
senior centers.

is also the grandchild of the late Abe
Raine and the great-grandchild of the
late Seymour Gold.
He attends East Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. He felt his most
meaningful mitzvah project was vol-
unteering in the warehouse at Yad Ezra
in Berkley, delivering food for them.
