ROCHELLE BROOKS, 77, of Delray Beach, Fla., died May 18, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Marvin; dear- est mother of Allan (Marion) and Jeffrey; beloved grandmother Brooks of Eric, Alex, Aiden, Garrett, Alana and Austin; dearest sister of Carol Cohen of West Bloomfield. IDA BURSTEIN, 95, of Grosse Pointe Woods, died May 20, 2011. Resulting from the Depression, Ida was sent to secretarial school. She also became a skilled painter of landscapes. An avid reader, she attended many lectures and became a member of the League of Women Voters. Even while liv- ing at Courtyard Manor for seven years, she continued to vote. She assisted her husband with his retail pharmacy and when he became ill, assisted in all details of his care. In later years, she became a very skilled bridge player and also taught bridge. She belonged to a variety of bridge clubs. Her hunger for learning directed her to take computer classes and she had a keen interest in the History Channel on TV. She was feisty, but with a warm and welcoming positive outlook. Mrs. Burstein is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Sheila Burstein of Newark, Calif., Aaron Burstein and Linda Kahn of Temple Terrace, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Anne and Vasily Kousoulas of Grosse Pointe Woods; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lee and Iry Zelitzky of Foster City, Calif.; grandchildren, Yanni Alexandros Kouskoulas, Lauren Alexandra Burstein; nieces and nephews, Annette and Hershel Fink, Sheri Fink, Edward Broughton, Mark Fink, Claudia and Eddie Keywell, Stacy and David Warshawsky, Mathew and Sara Keywell, Beverly and Marvin Gantz, Billy Mitchell, Debbie and Mathew Gantz, Jay and Sue Zelitzky, Naor Justin Deleanu, Gali Voss de Betancurt, Mayaan and Orly Voss de Betancurt. HENRY GLUCK, 87, of West Bloomfield, died May 21, 2011. He was a dentist in Detroit for 44 years and a 1951 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School.
