were married Feb. 1, 1961. They cel-
ebrated their 50th anniversary with
friends in. Arizona and will celebrate again
in Michigan with longtime friends and fam-
ily including their children and five grand-

West Bloomfield are thrilled to
announce the engagement of their
son Keith Alan Schonberger to Tara Lynne
Birch, daughter of Pat and Brian Birch of
Washington Township.
Tara graduated from Michigan State
University with a degree in medical technol-
ogy. She is employed as a medical laboratory
scientist at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak
and is working on her master's degree in the
same field.
Keith graduated from Michigan State
University's College of Engineering with a
degree in computer science. He is a second-
year student at the Michigan State University College of Law and plans to spe-
cialize in patent law.
An August wedding is planned.

am Borak of West Bloomfield cel-
ebrated his 99th birthday on May 20.
Family and friends traveled to help
Sam celebrate his birthday weekend. An ice
cream social was planned for the residents
of Meer Apartments in West Bloomfield. The
family had a Shabbat dinner in his honor in
Farmington Hills.
