Dubin, an award- winning writer and editor for many publications, including Michigan Jewish History and the Detroit Jewish News, was honored for her passionate commitment to documenting and preserving Metro Detroit's Jewish community history. The JHSM also welcomed keynote speaker and former Michigander Michael Rosenzweig, CEO of the National Museum of American Jewish Simons award honoree Charlotte Dubin History hi Philadelphia, the nation's only museum dedicated exclusively to exhibiting and interpret- ing the American Jewish experience. He spoke of the museum's architecture, message and importance as a contemporary experi- ence and a legacy for the future.
