MILDRED LEVIN
MOLNER, died
peacefully on May 9,
2011.
A native Detroiter,
she graduated
from Wayne State
%a
University
with a
Molner
degree in elemen-
tary education and taught kindergar-
ten in the Oak Park school district for
over 25 years. She adored her many
students and delighted in teach-
ing them to speak French as well as
introducing them to orchestral music
and innovative visual art activities.
She will always be remembered as
a very intelligent and creative woman
who best expressed herself through
poetry, prose, art and music. An
accomplished poet, her collection of
poems was published in 2007, and
her family honored her with a book-
signing event to commemorate her
poetic accomplishments. Mrs. Molner
was passionate about books, film,
theater, opera and music and espe-
cially enjoyed participating in book
and movie discussion groups.
She loved world travel and enjoyed
the many vacations that she and her
husband took during their lengthy
marriage. Her greatest joy in life was
spending time with her family and
sharing joyous life cycle events with
her children and grandchildren
Mrs. Molner was predeceased by
her parents, Nathan and Yetta Levin;
brother, Dr. Donald M. Levin.
She is survived by her loving
and devoted husband of 66 years,
Monroe "Bob" Molner; daughter and
son-in-law, Dr. Irene Schatz and Dr.
Arthur Schatz of Miami, Fla.; son,
William E. Molner of Lansing, Mich.;
treasured grandchildren, Jennifer
Molner Schatz, Adam Molner, David
Molner, Laura Schatz Lapin (Jeff)
and Erin Schatz Goldstein (Marlon);
sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Levin
Madoff and Dr. Milton Madoff of Los
Angeles; six nieces and nephews.
Contributions can be made to the
Alzheimer's Association. Interment at
the Beth Tefilo Emanuel Cemetery in
Ferndale. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

She worked at Kmart Headquarters
for 25 years and volunteered at the
Jewish Vocational Services for many
years.
Ms. Saunders is survived by many
loving cousins and friends.
She was the devoted and caring
daughter of the late Frieda Saunders.

RACHELL (GOLDRICH) "RAE"
WOLFE, 87, of Dayton, Ohio, for-
merly of Detroit, died May 10, 2011,
at Hospice of Dayton.
She was formerly employed at the
Social Security Administration and
later was the office manager for her
husband, Dr. Sheemon A. Wolfe. Mrs.
Wolfe was a longtime member of
Beth Abraham Synagogue and life-
time member of Hadassah.
She was preceded in death by her
husband of 47 years, Dr. Sheemon
Wolfe in 2008; daughter, Andrea
Wolfe in 1992.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by loving
nieces, nephews, extended family and
numerous friends.
Services were held at Beth
Abraham Cemetery Chapel in
Dayton. Rabbi Bernard Barsky, Rabbi
Dr. Hillel Fox and Cantor Andrea
Raizen officiated. Contributions
may be made to the Beth Abraham
Synagogue or a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by Marker &
Heller Funeral Homes in Dayton.
