L

Dorit has been caught in
a tornado and whisked away
from her beloved synagogue
Shaarey Zedek. Dropped in a far off
place, scared and alone, she encoun-
ters new friends — the Matzahkins
and Golda the Good Kvetch, who
welcome her to Matzahland. There she
learns that her synagogue has fallen
on and killed the Wicked Kvetch of the
East whose ruby slippers are suddenly
transferred to Dorit's feet.
Knowing that the slippers have spe-
cial powers, the angry Wicked Kvetch
of the West demands that her sister's
shoes be returned to their rightful
owner. To her disappointment, they
remain on Dorit's feet. Desperate
to return home, little Dorit begins

a frightful journey in search of the
mysterious Rabbi of Oz who resides
in the Emerald City, the only one who
can help her find her way back to CSZ.
On her journey, she gains friends: the
Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion who all
desire to reach the Rabbi of Oz. Will
little Dorit make it back to her home
synagogue?
To find out, come to the premiere
performance of The Rabbi of Oz at 2
