RICHARD "RICK" EGRIN, 80, of
Oak Park, died April 26, 2011.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Estelle Egrin of Oak Park; sons
and daughters-in-law, Edward and
Denise Egrin of Southfield, Stuart
and Carol Egrin of Southfield; broth-
ers and sister-in-law, Leon and June
Egrin of West Bloomfield, Evan
Egrin of Commerce; grandchildren,
Erica, Bradley, Adam and Allison
Egrin; brothers-in-law, Jim (Bonnie)
Weitzman, Austin (Faye) Kanter. He
is also remembered by many loving
nieces, nephews and other family
members and friends.
Mr. Egrin was the loving son of the
late Albert and the late Alice Egrin; the
son-in-law of the late Clement and the
late Gertrude Weitzman; brother of the
late Harriet Kanter.
Interment at the Beth El
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
Contributions may be made to the
American Lung Association, the
National Kidney Foundation or to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

LINDA GROSSLIGHT, 63, of Beverly
Hills, died April 21, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Justin
Grosslight of Beverly Hills; sister
and brother-in-law, Eileen and Paul
Grosslight of Phoenix, Ariz.; many
other loving family members and
friends.
Mrs. Grosslight was sister of the late
Marilyn Schane.

Fla., died April 29,
2011.
He is survived
by
his wife, Paula
Herschelman
Herschelman of
Florida; daughter, Marla Herschelman
(Cortney Herschelman) and their chil-
dren, Hayden and Lily; son, Dr. Marc
Herschelman (Corie Herschelman)
and their children, Sydney and Gabe.
A memorial service will be held
on Friday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at the
Dorfman Chapel in Farmington
Hills. Contributions may be made
to the American Cancer Society or
to the American Heart Association.

died April 29, 2011.
She is survived by her sons and

Mrs. Kandel was the beloved wife of
the late Ben Kandel.

MARTIN DAVID LEWIS, 60, of
Lincoln City, Ore., died April 28, 2011.
Mr. Lewis was a successful record
producer. His band career started with
the one-hit wonder the Shy Guys, who
had a hit called "We Gotta Go" which
reached # 5 on the Keener 13 charts.
The Shy Guys backed up the Dave
Clark 5 at Cobo Hall. He then went into
the studio and started producing hits.
His first hit, another one-hit wonder,
was by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils
called "Jackie Blue." He then went on to
engineer Jimmy Buffet, Rita Coolidge
and Kristofferson. Then came his big
break: He became Dan Fogelberg's
record producer, producing such hits
as "Longer,""Same Old Lang Syne,""
Run for the Roses." He produced six
albums with Dan.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his son,
Corey Lewis; brother and sister-
in-law, Keith and Jennifer Lewis of
Birmingham; sister and brother-in-
law, Lori S. and Peter Morris; nephews
Jack, Dylan; nieces, Mia and Amy; lov-
ing partner, Libby August; many other
loving family members and friends.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

PHYLLIS LITWAK, 75, of Southfield,
died April 16, 2011.
A teacher for over 30 years at Hillel
Day School, she was also a member of
the Red Hat Ladies and B'nai B'rith.
Mrs. Litwak is survived by her
daughters and son-in-law, Ruth and
Rick Duyck of Windsor, Ontario;
Deborah Bergman; son, Eric Litwak
and fiancee Autumn; brother and
sister-in-law, Alan and Carolyn Zohott
of Haslett; sister-in-law, Phyllis Samet;
grandchildren, Jason Duyck, James
Duyck; other relatives and friends.
