Ma'alot Massacre
Subject Of Film
StandWithUs will co-sponsor a
screening of the compelling docu-
mentary Their Eyes Were Dry as part
of a special Monday, May 9, event at
250 theaters around the country.
The film details the heart-wrench-
ing story of the 1974 Ma'alot Massacre
in Israel when 105 students were held
hostage by Palestinian terrorists and
commemorates the lives and courage
of these young people.
Included is a pre-recorded musical
performance by the Cantors' Assembly
with Alberto Mizrahi celebrating
I:rael's Independence Day and the
35th anniversary remembrance of
these brave children.
Screenings will be held 7 p.m.
Monday, May 9, at UA Commerce 14;
AMC Livonia 20; Ann Arbor 20 IMAX;
AMC Quality 16 in Ann Arbor.

At Sosnick Center
Temple Israel's Robert Sosnick Family
Life Center will host a cancer support
group with facilitator Jodie Jacobs for
inspiration, support and encouragement
on the second and fourth Wednesdays of
each month at Temple Israel.
The next meetings are Wednesdays,
May 11 and 25 , 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Registration is required 48 hours in
advance to attend.
