on the occasion of
his bar mitzvah
Friday, April 29, at
Temple Israel in
Kent
West Bloomfield.
He is the brother of
Lisa and Sam. His proud grandpar-
ents are Susie and Michael Kent and
Virginia and Chester Tankiewicz. His
late great-grandmother was Sylvia
Thomas.
Joshua is a student at Cranbrook/
Kingswood Boys Middle School. He
felt it was very meaningful as part of
his mitzvah experiences to volunteer
with JARC at bingo night at Temple
Beth El in Bloomfield Township.

Emily is in seventh grade at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. Her mitzvah
projects included community ser-
vice through Jewish Federation.

mitzvah Saturday,

April 30, at Temple
Kol Ami in West
Bloomfield. Sharing in this sim-
chah will be her brother Avery and
proud grandparents James and Katy
Mcintyre. Elaine is the granddaugh-
ter of the late Harold and the late
Pearl Kotzen.
Elaine is an honor student at Novi
Middle School. Her mitzvah projects
include volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Berkley.
Bobby Jones

called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, April 23,
at Congregation
Beth Evergreen
in Evergreen, Colo.
Schreiber
He is the son of
David Schreiber
and Rebecca Jones Schreiber and
his sisters are Hannah and Lucy.
Proud grandparents are Sarah Jones
of Denver and Edward and Carolyn
Schreiber of Huntington Woods. He is
also the grandson of Paul Lichter and
the late Bobby Jones.
Bobby attends the GT program at
Evergreen Middle School and works
with the kids at the Gathering Place
in Denver, a daytime, non-residential
resource site for women and children
without a home.
Jared Noah Schulte

of Jordan Schulte.
His grandparents are Aida Greenspan

Jared is a seventh-grader at

Blake attends Berkshire Middle
School in Birmingham. Among his
many mitzvah projects, he felt Housing
the Homeless with Temple Israel was
the most meaningful.
