Inside Hana's Suitcase is the true, heartbreaking
story of two young children who grew up in pre-
WWII Czechoslovakia - and a present-day group
of Japanese children who solve a long-forgotten
mystery. Based on the book Hana's Suitcase, which
has been translated into 40 languages, the film
blends documentary and dramatic techniques as
it traces the lives of George Brady and his sister
Hana Brady, whose name was painted on an old,
battered suitcase that the Japanese students
received from Auschwitz.

The journey begins with students' compassionate
teacher. She receives the suitcase, sees the name
and wonders: who was Hana? So begins a journey
that will lead them to a little girl, a terrible world
and sadness for which there are no words.

Inarguably one of the most insightful and brilliant
politicians who ever lived, Winston Churchill spoke
out early - and often alone - against Hitler and
his anti-Semitic policies. At a time when much
of the world, including his own native Britain, did
whatever it could to avoid dealing with the Nazi
leader, Churchill warned that battle was inevitable,
and that Hitler could not be bargained with - only
defeated. As historian John Lukacs explained,
Churchill may not have won the war alone, but
without him the war most certainly would have
been lost.

Narrated by Academy Award-winner Ben Kingsley,
this documentary highlights Churchill's years in the
political wilderness, his opposition to Hitler and his
support for Jews threatened by the Nazi regime.
