now through May at Shalom
Street, 6600 W. Maple Road in West

hosted by Temple Shir Shalom in West
Bloomfield.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with

tion, with a grand prize of two round
trip tickets to Israel courtesy of
United Airlines.
More than three dozen Jewish com-
munal organizations, area businesses
and individuals are sponsoring the
walk.
The Walk for Israel has been con-
vened annually in recent years to

enable the Jewish community and
friends to express their unity and
pride.
Parking for participants will be
available at Temple Shir Shalom,

Jennifer Maiseloff created the art

appear in hieroglyphics, thanks to
an alphabet designed by Maiseloff.
Visitors also are invited to shop in
the "Miriam's Market" exhibit for a
Passover craft.
