Hall Of Famers

Event focuses on capturing Jewish sports history on video.

T

he Michigan Jewish Sports
Foundation (MJSF) gathered past
inductees into its Hall of Fame
for an event called "Bagels and Bragging
Rights" on March 27 at the Jewish
Community Center in West Bloomfield.
In a celebration of the past, present and
future, the hall of famers were videotaped
in front of their plaques as they talked
about what it meant to them to be part
of the MJSF Hall of Fame. The video, part
of the organization's Reclaiming History
project, will be shown at future events and
also be available online at www.michigan-
jewishsports.org and at the Hall of Fame
kiosk at the JCC.

Seder Plates
And Discussion

T

he Jewish Women's Circle of West Bloomfield met at the
Bee's Knee's Pottery in Northville on March 28 to paint seder
plates and share recipes for Passover.
The women also participated in an involved discussion on how
redemption from Egypt is relevant in America's free society.
"I left feeling enlightened:' said Andie Feuereisen of West
Bloomfield. "Plus, we just had a great time painting all night long." II
