Mrs. Portner is survived by her hus-
band of 39 1/2 years, Arnold Portner; son,

and sisters-in-law, Dr. Leonard and
Laurel Portner, Dr. Bernard and Rachel
Portner; nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews and a world of friends.
She was the devoted daughter of the
late Daniel and the late Mary Steffin and
the loving daughter-in-law of the late
Samuel Portner.
