In the new version, Arthur's (1) nanny (Helen Mirren) seeks to keep him out of trouble (in the original, it was his butler). The original Arthur was direct- ed and written by Steve Gordon. It was his only fea- ture film; he died of a heart attack, at age 44, in 1982. The remake is the Jason Winer first feature film directed by Jason Winer, 36, a former actor who is one of the principal directors of Modern Family, the hit ABC TV series. Your Highness, also opening April 8, is an epic comedy set in a fantasy world reminiscent of King Arthur's time. Two brothers who are princes (played by Danny McBride, 34, and James Franco, 32) set off to res- cue Franco's kidnapped bride-to-be (Zooey Deschanel). They have to battle bad guys and CL dragons to save her. The princes are joined on their mission by a powerful but mysterious woman warrior (Natalie Portman, 29).
